Mayflower was founded in July of 1927 as an alternative to railroads for Customers who were interested in moving their belongings across the country on the newly paved roads. Mayflower became known for providing safe, door-to-door moving services.
By the early 1940's, 340 Members had joined Mayflower. Always striving to offer the best in service, Mayflower expanded into Canada and Mexico. Today, Mayflower has over 900 agents in Canada, the U.S, Mexico and overseas.
Mayflower was the first transportation company to install air-ride suspension and mobile communications in all of its moving vans. Mayflower was also the first to use corrugated wrapping and packing materials, all of which became the standard in the moving industry.
Mayflower has handled millions of moves over the past 75 years. Our Customers know that Mayflower is a name they can trust for reliable, quality service.
